Do I Need To Be Ashamed Of Having A Debt?

Most people feel ashamed of having a debt. There is embarrassment and it may be something that prevents them to enjoy life, depending on the type of debt.

Even I feel embarrassed but it is something that I can overcome. Being a former Senior Portfolio Account Manager (Senior Debt Collector), I can offer my experiences to assist you maybe become a person that can overcome the shamefulness caused.

Let me assure you there are ordinary people that may have personal debts: bus drivers, school teachers, plumbers, lawyers or barristers and the list will go on. None of these will be able to tell you of their personal debts (nor do they have too), whilst they are providing their services. With personal debts, you need not be ashamed, not at all - but when it happens at first - it may be embarrassing, only to yourself!

Under any circumstances, don't let it make you feel this way - just take it on board, on your shoulder. I always feel that I was always indebted to my parents and still are - they gave me life! And so I have given life to my children. Life carries on.

Place a smile on your face 😀, chin up and stand tall. Then you are ready for next post.
